WILLMAR — Best of Show awards were presented in the custom class and in the stock class during the twenty-fourth annual Willmar Car Club Show and Swap Meet held recently at Kennedy Elementary School in Willmar.

  • Rob Juve of Minnetrista won the Best of Show award in the custom class with a 1933 Ford roadster. Bob and Marie Baas of Alexandria won the Best of Show award in the stock class with a 1931 Ford Model A deluxe roadster.

  • People's Choice award in custom class went to Rob Juve of Minnetrista with a 1933 Ford roadster. People's Choice award in stock class went to Jim Stodolka Sr. of Avon with a 1961 Dodge Seneca 4 door.

  • The Club Participation award went to the Vintage Car Club from Alexandria which had 17 vehicles entered.

  • The Oldest Vehicle award went to Lou Hanson of Belgrade with a 1926 Ford Model T 4 door convertible touring.

  • The (Show) Chairman’s Choice went to John J. Mehr with a 1964 Dodge Polara 500 convertible.
